What’s your background?

I started freelancing as a publicist 6 years ago to support myself while studying journalism. I finished my studies with a degree but never really became a journalist as my business grew and I got spoiled by the freelance lifestyle. I ended up working with other journalists on daily basis though :)

How long have you been working remote and what are you currently working on?

Despite working remotely in the past from places like Sri Lanka or Canada I never considered myself a digital nomad until I decided to leave my apartment for good and get rid of most of my stuff. That was August 2017. Right now I feel like spending my money on traveling rather than on overpriced rent in Prague. Luckily my job allows me to live this lifestyle. Thanks to my awesome clients and colleagues I'm able to work remotely most of the year.

Why do you think Tenerife and the Canary island is a good destination for digital nomads?

For me as a EU citizen being in the EU is very convenient which narrowed down the list of destinations. Then start looking for nice weather all year round, breathtaking nature, reasonable prices and nice people, and you get the Canary Islands. Tenerife won because of Nine and mister El Teide ;)

What is your favorite thing about Nine Coliving?

One thing??? My favorite thing is that you have everything there. Community, privacy, workplace, garden, rooftop, gym, yoga, animals… Almost no need to leave the house :)
