Every June, our sleepy little town of La Orotava turns into the place to be for one of the biggest parties on the island—and if you're staying at Nine, you're right in the heart of it all. Think: dancing in the streets, traditional costumes, flower carpets, parades, and non-stop good vibes. Here's the breakdown:
🌸 Thursday – Corpus Christi
Stroll through town and soak in the beauty. The streets are covered in incredible flower and sand carpets—real works of art. The whole town smells amazing, and the vibe is pure magic.
🕺 Friday – Baile de Magos
This is the big one. Thousands of people pack the streets dressed in traditional Canarian gear (yes, we dress up too!). Live music, stages all over town, dancing, laughing, and partying until the sun comes up. It’s a full-on cultural rave, and you're invited.
🎶 Sunday – RomerÃa
A colourful parade with decorated carts, oxen, and locals in costume parading through town. Afterward, the party continues with a super fun concert in the park. It’s tradition mixed with total joy.
