About Nine
Nine Coliving and Coworking is a coliving space based in the historical centre of La Orotava, in Tenerife. Digital Nomads from all over the world come here to stay, work, meet each other and explore the island.
About the position
Weekend Host at Nine
You will become the host and community manager for Friday evening and Saturday and Sunday. This means you will help with the daily running of Nine and join the community on their weekend adventures. You will be available to the guests to provide information and answer questions, check guests in and out, with the main goal of enhancing the experience of guests staying at Nine, making them feel welcome and cultivating a healthy community.
Part of being a host also means being able to solve issues as they arise during the day, helping around the house, cleaning the kitchen and sometimes getting your hands dirty. But mostly the weekends centre around exploring the island and having fun together. And you get to join the fun!
You will be working in a small team, with the owner Anne, the house manager Silvia, our other host Rebeca and our cleaning lady Nati. There will also be another volunteer in the house, the yoga volunteer who works Mon to Fri. This position comes with a lot of responsibility, but also with a lot of freedom to make the role your own. You will respond to Anne and Silvia, but on the days that you work, you are responsible for the house and the community.
This position is perfect for someone who would like to imerce themselves into the community and explore the island of Tenerife at the same time.

- Basic Spanish (preferred)
