Staff & Volunteers

Summary:

Over the last 3 years we have grown from a one person team to a team of 6. Along the way we started to find out who we needed and for how many hours.

The Team at Nine consists of:

• Anne, the founder and manager

• Cleaning lady (4 hours, Monday to Friday)

• Manager and host (8 hours Monday to Friday)

• Host (25 hours per week, evenings and weekend)

• Yoga volunteer (25 hours per week)

• Kitchen and garden volunteer (25 hours per week)

The Hosts

The manager and host works full time on a fixed contract. She doesn’t live at Nine.

The part time host works 25 hours per week. In exchanges she lives at Nine in a private room, enjoys the breakfast, dinners and activities and receives a small payment. They work and live at Nine for 1 year min.

The Volunteers

The volunteers live and work at Nine for 3 months at the time.

They work 25 hours a week in exchanges for a shared room (two volunteers), breakfast, dinners and activities.
