About Nine

Nine Coliving and Coworking is a coliving space based in the historical centre of La Orotava, in Tenerife. Digital Nomads from all over the world come here to stay, work, meet each other and explore the island.

A big part of Nine is the community. Creating connections between people is what will be your most important asset at Nine.

About the position

Host at Nine

As a host you will be responsible for the daily running of Nine in the weekend and two nights a week (Monday and Tuesday). This means something different every day, so you will have to be flexible and enjoy work that changes by the minute. You will be available to the guests to provide information and answer questions, check guests in and out and help with organising community activities and events. Part of being a host also means being able to solve issues as they arise during the day, helping around the house, working with a team, cleaning in the weekend and sometimes getting your hands dirty. Big plus if you are handy in fixing things around the house. ;)

Part of being a host, means taking care of the community. You will help with the organisation of scheduled events at Nine, like the skill shares, social nights and weekend activities. You have the freedom to organise activities for the community, at Nine or on the island. It can also mean helping the community to organise their activities.

You will be working in a small team, with the owner Anne, the house manager Silvia, cleaning lady Nati and an Erasmus student. This position comes with a lot of responsibility, but also with a lot of freedom to make the role your own. You will respond to Anne and Silvia, but on the days and nights that you work, you are responsible for the house and the community.
