The Perseids Meteor Shower

Every August, the skies above Tenerife put on a jaw-dropping show. The Perseids—one of the brightest and most spectacular meteor showers of the year—light up the night, and there’s no better place to watch than Teide National Park, far above the city lights.

Grab a blanket, a thermos, and some good company—we’ll head up the mountain to stargaze under some of the clearest skies in Europe. Expect dozens of shooting stars an hour, pure magic, and the kind of silence that makes the whole island feel like it's holding its breath.
