🎭 Carnaval in Tenerife
Two weeks of wild costumes, street parades, and non-stop dancing.
Tenerife’s Carnaval isn’t just a party—it’s a full-blown two-week celebration that takes over the island with glitter, music, and total madness. From the massive parades in Santa Cruz to the local fiestas in La Orotava and Puerto de la Cruz, it’s a non-stop rollercoaster of colour, creativity, and Canarian spirit.
🎬 Una Playa de Cine
Movies Under the Stars at Playa El Socorro
Every year, the stunning Playa El Socorro in Los Realejos transforms into an open-air cinema, offering a unique experience where the magic of film meets the beauty of the Atlantic coastline.
🌠 Starry Skies Above Teide
The Perseids Meteor Shower
Every August, the skies above Tenerife put on a jaw-dropping show. The Perseids—one of the brightest and most spectacular meteor showers of the year—light up the night, and there’s no better place to watch than Teide National Park, far above the city lights.
🎶 Cook Music Fest — Puerto de la Cruz
July 18–20, 2025
For three hot summer nights, Santa Cruz turns into the party capital of Tenerife. Cook Music Fest brings together global stars, legendary Latin acts, and serious island energy—all right by the sea.
🎉 Fiestas de La Orotava
One epic week. Culture, chaos, and Canarian charm.
Every June, our sleepy little town of La Orotava turns into the place to be for one of the biggest parties on the island—and if you're staying at Nine, you're right in the heart of it all. Think: dancing in the streets, traditional costumes, flower carpets, parades, and non-stop good vibes.
🔥 Noche de San Juan
Fire, friends & ocean magic. Welcome summer the Canarian way.
Every year on the night of June 23rd, the beaches of Puerto de la Cruz light up—literally. Locals and visitors gather to celebrate Noche de San Juan, the summer solstice festival that mixes ancient rituals with a full-on beach party.
🌺 Tajinaste in Bloom
A once-a-year spectacle high above the clouds.
For just a few magical weeks each spring, something wild happens on Mount Teide: the tajinaste rojo explodes into bloom. These tall, fiery-red towers of flowers are found only in the Canary Islands, and this striking red variety—Echium wildpretii—grows exclusively on the slopes of Mount Teide in Tenerife. Think alien desert meets floral fantasy.
